IS27 - Computational methods and models for industrial applications – the young investigators’ perspective (EYIC)

Organized by: S. Morganti (Università di Pavia, Italy), C. Schwarz ( University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany), B. Oesterle ( Hamburg University of Technology, Germany), K. Perzynski ( GH University of Science and Technology, Poland) and E. N. Soriano ( Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain)
The minisymposium welcomes contributions coming from young investigators (<40 year-old) in the field of computational mechanics and mathematical modeling with a special focus on industrial processes and/or applications. Topics can include, but are not limited to: - Industrial products/processes simulations - Structural and fluid-dynamic analyses - Innovative numerical schemes and applications - Uncertainty quantification for products/processes simulations - Artificial intelligence techniques with focus on industrial processes - Additive manufacturing simulations - Topology/shape optimization of products
